So… I have been working as the assistant to the assistant… I like my job. It gives me the opportunity to wear different hats, keeps me busy all day & I don’t have to talk to my co-workers… They suck…..

The one person that I felt was on my side and would be a joy to work with, turns out to be a BIG OLD ASS… Very disappointing since we are from the same town… We got along well until I had a position that gives the perception of having some power… Trust… I do all the work with no recognition or pay.

This employee, was sick, gave many passes for that… Truly sick or not… He needs to retire…. He is soooooo rude….

I keep taking on more and more responsibilities, really getting paid to do the job of three employees for the price of one, but I like to solve problems, come up with ideas, trim the fat….

Having a struggle with the one ass, but I just let him do his thing, walking around the office, all day on his cell watching tik Tok videos….. PLEOPLE… TikTok is the kryptonite of the workforce.

Somehow, he always has questions about what my job duties are, when he can’t handle his and seems to have a lot of free time that I never have…. I don’t take personal calls, don’t use my mobile at the office, never use my work computer to shop, unless it is for the office or during my lunch… Getting UTI’s a couple of times a year because I can’t even go the bathroom.

I think that the picture is set… Last year around the end of October, start of November, the two last employees we had that worked the front desk both left. Despite my many requests for training working the front desk, when we had a full staff, “You don’t need to know the front desk, they are trained, have been with the company many years and know what to do and how to fix it”…. Well guess who was stuck taking over the front desk and learned their job in less than a week….

If you guest “ME” you are on the money and get the price… Worked the front desk “Alone” for a couple of months, because in corporate America, even ordering a pen requires an act of congress.
